I could've sworn that
I never once expected
to ever see someone
anything or any type
like you

Fallen angels don't walk
the streets anytime
very often or more likely,
never ever ever

Yet I saw you
and my heart still beats
like a crazy conga drum
just from the sheer thrill
of seeing someone
like you passing by

I think God was gracious,
because He granted me
a few of my  
biggest wishes and dreams
I've ever wanted

And it's all because
I was lucky enough
to meet a person like you

You're a living miracle,
the thing that makes me smile,
the one I dream about at night,
everything I could want or need
when it comes to a person

You'll never leave me
and I can see sincerity
in your eyes unlike others,
a truth so crystal clear
like water in a mountain spring,
untainted and pure

Looking at you,
I see your feathery wings
that no one else can see
